Below are a number of examples of the type of work that
has been undertaken:
- Business Development for software development house with a
niche market. It provided a remote access management solution
for mobile hand held and truck mounted computerised devices using
wireless connectivity. The initial job was to organise and cull
an existing database of prospects. This developed into assisting
with the creation of the overall marketing plan and taking responsibility
for all aspects of e-marketing, selection and development of a
new CRM system.
- Business Development for an established software house that
was launching a new product aimed at the corporate enterprise
project, portfolio and resource management market. Created and
managed a small calling team that produced 115 fully qualified sales appointments
in 12 months generating over £350,000 of sales. Worked with
the marketing department to ensure leads were generated from e-mail
and website campaigns.
- Business Development for a provider of specialist security
services to companies using enterprise computer systems.
This consisted of all the necessary research to set up, train
and run a 4-seat telesales/marketing/appointment making operation.
The team was successfully formed and handed over.
- Market Research telephone interviewer for NOP Telephone
Interview Services Ltd (Oxford). Used on jobs requiring experienced
business people to conduct surveys with very senior global corporate
figures.
- Developing, from initial definition, a 12-seat Call Centre
for a major force in face-to-face fundraising in the UK. This
included, recruiting and training staff for a 12 seats calling, tele fundraising and Donor contact centre.
Created and implemented the Access Database used by the Processing
Centre as well as designing and implementing the required procedural
systems.
